Jad Abumrad is the creator and co-host of Radiolab, a public radio program broadcast on 524 stations across the nation and downloaded over 9 million times each month. With a focus on investigating the mysteries of the world and making science accessible, Radiolab has won Peabody Awards, a National Academies Communication Award, and in 2011 Abumrad received the McArthur Genius grant. The MacArthur Foundation praises Abumrad for “inspiring boundless curiosity within a new generation of listeners and experimenting with sound to find ever more effective and entertaining ways to explain ideas and tell a story.” In 2017 Abumrad created The Radiolab spinoff, More Perfect, a series about untold stories of the Supreme Court. Currently in its 2nd season, The New York Times called More Perfect “...possibly the most mesmerizing podcast.”
