Co-Ed 9th-12th grade
The UNT Computer Science and Engineering Department will be hosting a number of summer cybersecurity programs to introduce young women and young men in 9th -12th grades to cybersecurity. The goal of the summer camps is to help students understand correct and safe on-line behavior, increase diversity and interest in cybersecurity and careers in the cybersecurity workforce of the Nation.
The curriculum for each camp will include the 10 GenCyber First Principles, and a wide variety of cybersecurity topics offered through various instructional tools and methods (e.g., hands-on activities, gamification, etc.) to keep the curriculum fun, engaging, and effective.
This camp will not provide lunch or snacks, so students should plan to bring their own. We will provide refillable water bottles to use throughout the week (students will keep water bottles at the end of the camp).
