The Mulberry Street Studio offers students an immersive art experience at the UNT College of Visual Arts and Design. The studio is created with children (ages 8-10) in mind where students and instructors experiment, cultivate curiosity, and explore a variety of art materials and processes -- a space of creativity and inspiration where classes are taught by UNT students supervised by UNT instructors.
Instruction will go beyond a traditional school art experience, giving students the opportunity to work on specific projects using college-level equipment and ideas. Classes will explore art materials and the creative mind through collaboration, community building, and self-exploration. The session will culminate in an exhibition for friends and family at the end of the last class.
